Claudia Villar joined the Climate Museum in 2016 and now serves as its Communications Coordinator. She produces marketing materials, organizes youth and community programming, and more. Claudia is focused on addressing climate injustice and enjoys working with students and community members to bring climate change to the forefront of public discussion. Prior to joining the Museum, Claudia taught 10th grade biology and an elective on climate science and ethics at a high school in Salcedo, Dominican Republic. She holds an M.A. in Climate and Society from Columbia University and a B.A. in Biology from Bowdoin College. Claudia loves rock climbing, doing handstands, and spending time outdoors.
