Dr. Edward Maibach, an internationally renowned pioneer in the field of climate communications, will be offering a special program on communicating climate solutions and our exhibition Taking Action. Maibach, in dialogue with Climate Museum Director Miranda Massie, will discuss research findings regarding public opinion on the climate crisis and the challenges and opportunities presented by climate communications, with opportunities for questions and dialogue throughout. Maibach and Massie will discuss the climate communications techniques and ideas underpinning the content design of the exhibition Taking Action, how they respond to some of the identified challenges within communications about the climate crisis, and how they relate to broader trends in climate advocacy. Wine and light refreshments will be served.
