Clean Energy and the IRA with Nathanael Greene

  • Javits Center, Nest Climate Campus 429 11th Ave, New York, NY 10001 (map)

The Climate Museum continued its partnership with the Nest Climate Campus, a Climate Week center of gravity offering three days of free programming at the Javits Center. In partnership with the Nest, the Museum presented the pop-up exhibition Solar Portraits, a beautiful series by award-winning photographer Rubén Salgado Escudero that expresses the profound social impact of access to solar microgrids in energy poor places around the world (including the US). The pop-up included an opportunity for collective reflection.

Each day, the Museum hosted a lunchtime program from 12:00-12:45pm on themes related to the exhibition.

The second program was a conversation on clean energy and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) with Nathanael Greene, Senior Advocate for the Renewable Energy, Climate & Clean Energy Program at NRDC, moderated by Saskia Randle, Design and Curatorial Associate at the Climate Museum.
