As ambassadors for the Museum, volunteers help with a range of events and are a critical part of our growing organization. Retirees, professionals, and students of all ages are all encouraged to participate.
In our first year of programming, volunteers helped install art exhibitions, served as docents and educators, conducted public outreach, and more.
"Volunteering at the Climate Museum has given me a perspective of the social aspects essential for climate sciences outreach. As a geochemist, much of my work in climate research has been very technical. I gained an appreciation of how enriching the human aspect of conversing and educating people can be."
– Shawn Wang, Climate Museum Hub Volunteer Docent
