Artist Talk with David Opdyke and Una Chaudhuri

  • 120 Wooster Street New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

In this artist talk, David Opdyke, whose major new work Someday, all this is featured at the Climate Museum Pop-up, was in conversation with Professor Una Chaudhuri, a climate activist artist as well as Dean of Humanities and Professor of English and Environmental Studies at NYU. Together, the two explored the elements of protest and activism in Opdyke’s practice, as well as the role of art in the climate movement more broadly, touching on the intersection of the art world and the climate advocacy world. This was an interactive discussion with abundant time for audience Q&A. The event was followed by wine, cheese, and a dynamic discussion that invited the audience into climate action and protagonism.

A second artist talk in November featured David Opdyke in conversation with András Szántó, cultural strategy advisor and author of The Future of the Museum: 28 Dialogues.
