Climate Museum Director Miranda Massie will moderate a discussion on the ways the climate crisis originates in and compounds systems of oppression and extraction, including colonialism, racism, and sexism, leading to uneven distribution of climate impacts. The panelists, leaders representing broad and varied professional expertise, will explore the implications of these dynamics for our common progress toward just futures.

We invite you to an art installation and preview of Someday, all this by acclaimed artist David Opdyke before it moves to our Soho pop-up on October 1.
On Wednesday, September 21 from 10am-3:30pm, Opdyke, assisted by Museum staff, will install this epic mural made of hundreds of postcards, sharing a behind-the-scenes look at his process with attendees at the Garden Eatery Social Networking Hub.
On Thursday, September 22 from 7:30am - 3:30pm the work will remain on view.

Peter Knight, Board Chair of the Climate Museum, will moderate a fireside chat on investment in nature-based carbon removal solutions that help protect and restore our ecosystems and secure a stream of future removal credits to achieve net zero. Panelists will talk about the planet-scale impact of Aspiration’s nature-based restoration program that will drive to remove carbon and benefit communities around the world.
