Sangria Dance Party

  • The Climate Museum Pop-Up 120 Wooster Street New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

Join us in a fond farewell to the Museum’s first Manhattan pop-up! You have inspired us beyond belief these last seven months. Thank you for demonstrating the power of arts and cultural programming to make change!

On our last Saturday at the pop-up, we’ll dance for the future we can create together. We’ll have free sangria on hand, made from a very special wine—see below—using the recipe of Uruguayan celebrity chef, restaurateur, and author Sofi Muñoz, the cousin of one of our fantastic teammates. Other refreshments will also be served. This party also provides a chance to celebrate our exclusive wine partner Cambria Estate Winery of Jackson Family Wines. We’ll be making the sangria from Julia’s Vineyard, a Cambria Estate Pinot Noir.

Cambria Estate is a partner we value deeply; we are proud to be associated with their authentic commitment to climate, ecological, and social progress. Led by sisters Katie and Julia Jackson, Cambria produces world-class Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs in Santa Barbara County, California. Cambria is 100% powered by clean, renewable electricity, with over 90% coming from on-site solar arrays. It has received multiple certifications related to water conservation, sustainable pest control, waste management, and biodiversity. The Museum is one of 200 non-profits supported by Jackson Family Wines; others include local education, literacy, food bank, and farm worker housing and shelter programs, where Cambria employees get paid time off to volunteer.

If you’ve enjoyed a glass of wine at the Climate Museum Pop-Up, it is thanks to the Cambria team, and you can feel good about how it was made!
