  • The Climate Museum 105 Wooster Street New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

The Climate Museum welcomed designer and filmmaker Finn Harries for a special discussion about the role of design, culture, and media in the transition toward a regenerative, resilient, and just climate future.

Finn Harries is the co-founder of Earthrise Studio, a digital media company dedicated to communicating new ways of thinking about climate and culture. He is also the co-founder and Chief Designer of Juntos Farm, a new community space in the heart of Ibiza, Spain, dedicated to regenerative farming and local food production. Harries studied architecture, environmental studies, and urban design at Parsons School of Design, the Architectural Association in London, and the University of Cambridge. His research explores design for regenerative systems and frameworks for navigating climate breakdown. He has spoken at TEDx and the United Nations on the urgency for action on climate change and biodiversity loss, and his writing has appeared in The Guardian and Citizen Magazine.

In conversation with Climate Museum director Miranda Massie, Harries discussed the intersections of climate and culture; what climate advocacy can look like in the digital world; and the transition towards a culture focused on regeneration, resilience, and justice.
