Meet the Climate Museum: an Introduction with Research Findings

Cultural work on climate change is flourishing more and more–and it will be critical to enabling the policy we need in the next phase of the climate movement. Join us for this two-part conversation about culture and climate change, the first of several that will be offered on the Climate Museum Community Stage.

First, hear about the Climate Museum’s theory of change and approach to programming from Design and Curatorial Associate Saskia Randle—and please bring your questions! Next, Climate communications expert Nicholas Badullovich, PhD, of the George Mason Center for Climate Change Communication, the lead author on a forthcoming peer-reviewed article about the Museum’s most recent show, will join Amanda Nesci, Climate Museum Senior Exhibitions Associate, to discuss his research and what it revealed about the effectiveness of cultural programming as a pathway into civic engagement with climate.
