Climate Literacy: what should everyone know—and do?

  • Javits North 445 11th Avenue New York, NY, 10001 United States (map)

Join the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's climate education lead, Frank Niepold, and Climate Museum director Miranda Massie to learn about new understandings and priorities for public climate knowledge and the emergence of a form of climate literacy that can lead us all forward: climate literacy as a tool for citizenship. This increasingly holistic understanding underscores the centrality of equity, public knowledge and culture, and the role of emotions in the fight for a safe and just future.
